Our World
This is narrated by the Author, not our sweet princess. The world that we revolve around is a region unknown to humans, and as such a sort of paradise for all pokemon to come to. So, that's my excuse for there not being any humans

Me (Marsh, the Princess and soon to be Queen of the Pokemon Kingdom)
My Brother (Jaytain, the Prince and soon to be King (not incest! Take a look at the Character Kingdom!))
My (dead) Father (Roran, the former King of the Kingdom, now) deceased)
My Mother (Emilia, the former queen of the kingdom. She is getting ill and so we have to take care of the kingdom.)
My Uncle (Frayland, a good uncle that can make clones of pokemon ( I forgot to tell you, eh-heh.)

Story Thus Far
I, uh, it hasn't started yet! Go back into your hole! >:U

Project 1: Character Kingdom (Introductory Chapter - just explaining some things)
Hi. My name is Marsh, and I'm a Shiny Whimsicott. I'm the princess of the Pokemon Kingdom, and I will soon have to rule it with my brother, Jatain (pronounced Jay-tain, how about I just give you a y?), a normal Whimsicott. My mother's name is Emilia (We call her Mom, people call her Emily), and she's the current queen, and has the egg of a Torchic with her at all times. My father is a Blaziken, and his name is Roran, he is (or, suffice to say, *sniff*, was, the King). We call him Dad, but everyone else formally says King Roran. My uncle doesn't have anything to do with royalty, really, unless all of us die, and he's a Grovyle (why hasn't he ever become a sceptile? He's old enough!), his name is Fraland (fray-land - another y). We, of course, call him Uncle Frayland (y!). Since my mother is frail and ill, me and Jaytain (see, a y!) have to rule the kingdom now that our father is... gone. Why is it a 'we' when it should be one of us? Well, since I'm a shiny, I was in line to rule the kingdom first, but I can't do it myself, so I decided that we would both do it. That enough talking? Hope so~!

(Time To Jump Into The Story!)

Chapter 1: The kidnapping of the prince! Jaytain, nooo!
"Daddy?" his footsteps quicken as the looming figure of my father walks away, ignoring my every shout. "Daddy!" something like recognition crosses his face as he looks at me. He then shakes his head and continues to walk away, further into the darkness. "DAD!" I shout after him, running as fast as my stubby legs can take me, until I trip. "D-Dad..." I whine, struggling to get up, and then he's gone.

"No!" I shout, then, waking up in my room, I realize that I was dreaming. I frown, thinking again of what I try to keep from my mind - the fact that he isn't here. After waking up from that nightmare I can't just walk across the hall and have him hold me and tell me that would never happen. I sob another rush of beadlike tears out. Why did he have to die?

I don't know how either. He was immune to diseases, even the common cold, yet what killed him was not war or famine, but the same thing that I believe my mother has. I push the covers off me, shaking out my cotton as I jump off the bed. I have to brush it every day, and when I sleep, it clings to me - it looks really weird, more like I'm a cottonee, with eyes blinking out of a large heap of cotton.

As I open the door, I hear a large fit of coughing coming from my Mother's room, and restrain another fit of crying - best not to upset her. Deciding to get a glass of water, I walk through the hallways, which seem to be colder than usual.

I get a little ways before a pair of red eyes peer at me. "Bad dream again?" asks Nasha. I nod. "I'm just going to have a glass of water before I go to bed." I say, as we walk down the hallway to the kitchen.

"How about Hot Chocolate?" she says as a chill runs down my spine - the kingdom could use some warm air at night. "Extra marshmallows?" I ask hopefully, as we walk into the kitchen and I hop up onto a seat. "Extra marshmallows." she confirms, as she fiddles with the Hot Chocolate maker. It was a gift from someone - certainly a good one.

A few minutes later, a mup of piping hot chocolate saturated with small marshmallows appears in front of me. I take a careful sip of the hot beverage before saying "Thank you, Nasha!" enthusiastically. "No problem. Be sure to wipe your face in the morning." she says, referring to my mouth. I must have another Chocolate Mustache - it happens all the time, to my pleasure.

I take my time to finish it, conversing with Nasha. Sometimes it's nice to have a nocturnal servant, because that she's always there at night. I really appreciate her now that I don't have anyone to turn to at night. The hot chocolate that I used to cherish her more for than anything else is now just a pleasant perk. Of course, the downside is that I can only talk to her at night.

"Thanks Nasha..." I mumble again, before the blackness of sleep.

~Time Skip!~

"...Cess Marsh! Princess marsh!" I yawn, looking around at my bedroom, securely under the covers again - nasha must of carried me in here. "Marsh!" she says again as I roughly open my eyes. "Yes?" I ask hazily. "Jaytain's not here! He-He's been kidnapped!"

This time my eyes stay open, as I stumble out of the bed, bringing most of the bedspread with me. "What?! A-Are you sure? He might've had a nightmare too." I point out, and she shakes her head. "Yes. The guards saw someone carrying him away, and he's not in the castle either. I think it was a Roserade, but they dissapeared somehow. The guards are in pursuit." she hastily explains. We don't know any Roserades! It wasn't a friend, that's for sure, and I can't help but worry. "We have to go find him!" I say, then point at the sun slowly rising. "It's light enough!" Nasha shakes her head. "Prince-" "Then uncle will help me!" I say, running past her. I can't sit here and do nothing!

Ooh, Excited! I'd like to read more, and here are some tips:

Whenever a new Character is Talking, you make a new paragraph, even if they only have one line.
You're missing some capitals in Cottonee and some others.

Can't wait to see who kidnapped him~ You should double check in Microsoft Word, but that's coming from someone who likes to use a Notepad.

It would be cool if you put their family line...

Also, sorry for not posting this earlier, every time I've had a chance, It's been late at night (when I can do simple stuff but am mostly brain dead )

Also, I think that rather than doing that its better to have good sized paragraphs, rather than changing every time someone speaks.

Chapter 2: The adventure begins~! Finding the Beautiful Thief~
Thankfully, the trip to Uncles house is not far, because its only a guest house of the kingdom - for some reason he wanted to live close but alone. I'm already panting, and its only been a few minutes. I think I've left Nasha somewhere, but I need to keep running till I get there.

After a few more minutes, I burst into the cozy place, panting hard. I look up. He's asleep. "U...uncle..Uncle?" I ask, trying to keep my voice up loud enough to wake him. He opens his eyes slightly, then blinks them open wide. "Marsh?! What are you doing here?!" he asks, quickly getting out of bed.

"Jaytains been kidnapped! I need to go find him! I figured you could help?" I say hurriedly, hoping against hope he can at least give me something to bring with. He scratches his head, smoothing the leaf on it over. "I can help." he says simply, then continues.

"I know a girl who might have the information you need. She's a thief, but she isn't bad hearted. She's retired now, but she still might know. I'll tell you how to find her, but first;" he says, then moves to another room.

Curiously, I peek my head in, to see he has a pokemon. Is he sending a pokemon with me? I back up. Maybe this is one of those clones he said he made... I look at him when he walks in, but it seems to only be an ordinary Emolga. No, its shiny, but its a regular shiny. How did he get ahold of a shiny? We are the most rare species of Pokemon!

"This is Sam. He's sort of shy, but he can be of help to you." He hands the sleeping pokemon to me, but I topple over - we're the same size, and I couldn't possibly carry more than my own weight. Sam opens his eyes, however dazily. "Princess Marsh? What are you doing here?" he says in a very sleepy voice as he basically rolls off of me.

Uncle Frayland breifly explains our situation, and Sam nods fervently. "And now, back to finding her. She's a shiny, too--" How are there so many shinies all of a sudden? I thought I was the only one! Not to complain or anything... "-- and she's a Melloetta. You can find her at the Angel's Bar, not too far from here. Here's a map. Her name is Arutemisu. Good luck!" he says spiritedly, patting me on the head before I go.

"Thanks, Uncle! Sam, lets go find Aru!" I say, rushing towards the forest in the direction he pointed. "Okay, Sam, you take the map, and make sure I'm going in the right direction." I say, suddenly able to run just as quickly as before.

"O-Okay." he consents, struggling to keep up. I stop. "Are you okay?" I ask, walking back a few steps. "Yeah, I'm just not as good a runner as you..." he says, and I think he's blushing. "We'll walk then. It's fine." I say with a smile, and he smiles back, and we continue on.

~~~Hum De Dum Dum~~~

"I think this is it." I say, pointing to a place that says "Angel's Bar" on the front. I don't see how they make it out here in the forest, seeing as there are more people near the castle. I mean, really, its all forest, and we just build on the forest, but these parts have less people. Me and Sam must've been walking for hours, so I doubt we're anywhere near the castle.

Speaking of which, I wonder what Nasha's doing... I wonder what's happening to Jaytain right now... a pang of hurt stings me, but I brave it. I have to, at least until we find Aru. The glass doors in front of us open, to show a Meloetta matching the description Uncle Frayland gave me.

"Are you Aru?" I ask, deciding to make use of the nickname that I've secretly come up with. She pauses. "Nope, no one by that name here. And it's early in the morning, why are you setting camp out here?" she says, staring at Sam, who's sleeping at the edge of the road. Something I realize is that we didn't really stop for supplies, but, especially if this is indeed the Shiny Meloetta we are looking for, we can get both the information and the supplies to continue our adventure.

"Well, we're looking for an Aru, who works at the Angel's Bar, and is a Shiny Meloetta - such as yourself. Her full name is Arutemisu. Does she ring a bell now?" I ask hopefully. "Yes. I'm Arutemisu." she says, gesturing to herself. "And its early in the morning, so this must be important." she says. I look up at the sky, only a few shades lighter than its deep blue.

Was she up?
"Well, Aru--"
"If you call me that again, I'll kill you."
"Why, Aru?" I ask, grinning.
"Because no one calls me that. Ar-Ty. Not Ar-U."
"Ar-U." I say. "Its a MUCH cuter nickname."
She then thumps me on the head. "OW!" I cry out. "Arty?" she says. "A-Arty..." I say meakly back. I think Uncle was half asleep when he said "Good-Hearted".

"Anyway, Arty, my brother, Prince Jaytain, was kidnapped. Uncle Frayland said you may be able to help me find him - or at least point me in the right direction. Also, we kind of need supplies. I didn't think far enough ahead, I was in such a hurry. Do you think you could help?" I ask.

"Yeah. The person most likely to have kidnapped him is Enzo. He's an Emboar, and he's very powerful in the underworld. Or at least, he was when I was around. He likes to kidnap important people and nobles, and ask for a ransom. Most of the 'evil' people in our world are only thieves, because of the peace and tranquility here. There isn't a need to fight, and there isn't really even a reason to steal. But Enzo changed that. Especially now, with the fall of your father, King Roran, I imagine he has lots of power. The money he hopes to get from your brother will help that. I never had close relations with him, so I don't really know his intentions. No one really does - except for Roserade. But no one even knows his name. I could probably find his base of operations for you, and as for supplies, your lucky its more than just a bar - I actually have a lot more than Wine here. Food, Water, Supplies - All that kind of stuff."

"Thanks!" I reply. "Your welcome." she says, and she smiles a small smile.
